COVID – 19 UPDATE #6
To our valued KSG-M Families,
During these weeks of isolation and social distancing we sincerely hope everyone is continuing in good health, keeping safe and sane.
We understand that everyone is eager to get out of the house and back to their active lifestyle. So, while we are still unable to be with you in the gym, we have introduced our virtual gymnastics classes. If you did not receive the email update with the link to the site address, please contact us. We hope you will find the videos fun and participate with us. Let us know what you think by filling out the surveys.
I would also like to thank everyone that responded and selected one of the three member options KSG offered. All of our members are important to us so we understand that each family made the choice best suited to their situation. If you have not yet responded please do so as soon as possible.
To those of you who have offered assistance to us in so many ways I thank you from the bottom of my heart. The club and I are blessed to have such wonderful caring friends. Your continued support, kind words, likes on our social media mean more than can be expressed. The Coaches, Administration and I miss each and every one of our families.
By now many of you have heard on the News that Gymnastics clubs are reopening. The government announce that “individual competitive gymnastics” is allowed to return as of next week. Gymnastics Ontario (GO) is not mandating / insuring the competitive athletes until May 29. Kids SuperGym-Mississauga is a recreational-only club. The GO Board is working with varying levels of the government to open recreational programs in the upcoming phases.
Guidelines will be issued regarding class sizes, summer programs, etc. Kids SuperGym promises that we will work diligently to implement the Ministry of Health and the Gymnastics Ontario guidelines to prepare the facility for when we can safely reopen our doors.
Members have inquired if we will be running our summer programs. We will accept bookings for the programs but payments will not be processed until we are assured that programs are able to run. As we receive any new updates or developments we will keep you informed.
We wish everyone a beautiful, warm and sunny Victoria Day Weekend.
Wishing you, your loved ones and especially all who have been hurt by this virus a speedy return to normal. Stay safe,
Christine Lynch – Owner
